The Cure — Weaponizing Bellini's Patients

  • Esterbrook and Elizabeth Sarnoff manipulated the drug treatments that Bellini's patients Emily Kramer and Claire Williams had received in order to turn them into radioactive weapons. After he deployed Kramer in a murderous field test, Esterbrook told Sarnoff that Williams was the one that counts. He later asked if the capsules in her blood stream could be activated remotely... as requested. When told that remote activation was possible, Esterbrook said he would call the client and schedule delivery.
  • He was in charge of the Pharmaceutical Research Division at INtREPUS.
  • Dr. Nadim Patel implicated David Esterbrook in the abduction and illegal experimentation of Claire Williams and Emily Kramer. He then implied that Esterbrook was capable of very bad things and that Dunham should not get involved in revealing his criminal actions. Esterbrook attempted several times to verbally intimidate Dunham - threatening her professional career and personal future.
  • Agent Charlie Francis determined that Esterbrook was responsible for an aggressive lobbying campaign that allowed INtREPUS to conduct controversial Research and Development in prenatal gene therapy, human–animal hybridization studies and viral warfare.
  • Agent Dunham met Esterbrook at a reception in a hotel bar during a humanitarian aid forum in Manhattan, NY. - a forum where he was speaking. Misrepresenting her identity, Dunham cornered Esterbrook on some of the philanthropic issues associated with his industry. She said that the only thing keeping him from doing truly visionary work - was money. He revealed that resolve was the roadblock on that path.
  • Dunham confided in Peter Bishop and then questioned the world we live in. Where Esterbrook, someone we should be able to trust, would participate in illegal human experimentation.
  • Esterbrook was man-handled and arrested at INtREPUS Headquarters by Dunham. She publicly embarrassed him by removing him from the building in handcuffs in front of the press/media. His arrest caused corporate stock values to immediately drop to a 10 year low, with a corresponding increase in Massive Dynamic value of twelve percent.
  • Esterbrook conducted his illegal experiments at a covert lab on the southern side of Framingham, MA. with Elizabeth Sarnoff. After she was arrested at the laboratory, following the rescue of Claire Williams... Esterbrook claimed that she was a disgruntled former employee that was attempting to vilify him.
  • The public arrest of Esterbrook placed Dunham under the close scrutiny of her supervisor, SAIC Phillip Broyles. He questioned some of her actions and judgment in the case because of the emotional investment she lodged against Esterbrook.
