The Equation — Kidnapper/Hypnotizer — Conspires with Loeb

Presumed to have died from a Nov 2009 auto accident from a bridge at age 20. Lived in/near Clarksburg, MA under the alias "Joanne Ritz", with only a PO Box in her data file.

• Lured Jeremy Stockton to the side of the road feigning auto troubles.

- Hypnotized him with three green, and one red, lights mounted under the hood of her car.

- Abducted Stockton's son, Ben, from the back of their minivan.

• Held young Ben in a mechanical room in the bowels of a large building.

- Offered Ben the use of a piano, and sheet music, to help solve a mysterious equation.

- Used her skills as a neurologist to manipulate the thoughts of Ben, and his memories of his dead mother.

- Ultimately acquired

• Abducted prominent experts over a decade, attempting to solve the Equation

- Three academics were connected to her criminal activities - each released with sanity issues.

- Dashiell Kim was a suspected fourth abductee of Ostler. His release led to the death of his wife.

• Joined Agent Mitchel Loeb to share her discoveries.

- Ostler was shot dead by Loeb, once he was satisfied that she had delivered the solution to the Equation.
