• Mitch Loeb was back in rare form to wrap-up the efforts of Joanne Ostler.

- After she retrieved what the young prodigy had to offer, Joanne met Mitchell in a secure storage area to share what she had gained. Loeb placed an apple in a hardened safe, then had her math "equation" run. His hand, wrapped and protected, was inserted through a hole in the safe. What he withdrew from the safe - a perfect apple - much like the one he placed in the safe... was quickly extracted and sampled (bitten). Satisfied, Loeb rapidly drew a small caliber pistol and shot Joanne... assignment - over.

In Which We Meet Mr. Jones — Advanced Parasites — Pattern Conspirator?

• Led a tactical arrest to seize contraband in Weymouth, Massachusetts.

- He failed to locate the contraband that had been expected during the raid in on illegal goods from Germany.

- The van was full of stuffed animals - pandas.

• As Loeb was de-briefing the botched raid, he collapsed to the floor.

- He Was rushed to the hospital with suspected heart failure, or aa possib;e seizure.

- He was later rushed to the Bishop laboratory to have sophisticated (human-engineered) parasites removed from his heart.

• Loeb indicated to Agent Broyles that he thought Agent John Scott might be a mole within the task force.

- He had travelled to Frankfurt the previous week. Part of his investigation there involved David Jones, and smuggling from Budapest.

- He returned from Europe with ciphered data, tucked into a paper copy of "Dickens - A Chritmans Carol". His wife Samantha Loeb turned the information over to Agent Olivia Dunham and the science team.

• He and his wife appeared to covertly plan to discover the secret phrase, or location, revealed by David Jones.

- Broyles confided that Loeb is not a only a colleague, but a friend.
