Dr. Nadim Patel was interviewed at the Patel Health Care facility by Agent Dunham.
He was Emily Kramer's rheumatologist and involved with her treatments for Bellini's Lymphocemia. He released her medical records to Dunham.
Patel appeared to be upset when Dunham informed him that Kramer was dead. He claimed emotional investment in patients was an occupational hazard.
He stated that he had no idea how Kramer's recovery from the fatal disease was medically possible, and that she was not treated with any radiation therapy.
When Peter Bishop asked Dunham if she thought Patel might be involved in the crimes they were investigating, she suggested that 83% of kidnap victims are abducted by someone they know.
When Agent Dunham returned to Patel Health Care to confront Dr. Patel about his involvement in the crimes, Patel took a pistol from a file drawer and committed suicide.
Patel was implicated by Ken Williams, husband of Claire Williams.
Patel warned Dunham to abandon her investigation because the drug company INtREPUS, was capable of very bad things.
Before he shot himself in the head, Patel told Dunham that the man she was after is David Esterbrook
When Dunham initial met with Esterbrook, she told him that she knew his colleague - Doctor Nadim Patel.
Dunham later questioned the world we live in. Where Patel, someone we trust to take care of us, would participate in illegal human experimentation.
