Skin/Background
It may just be my aged eyeballs, but I have trouble seeing the links at the top of the windows (Page, Talk, Preferences, etc.). Is there some way to add a more neutral background? Thanks.--Jim in Georgia Talk Contribs 13:18, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
- It is hard to read. Maybe we can just make the text a different color? --Dennis 17:12, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- I like the background. Just change the text to more brighter font.--GreenRabbit 17:53, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
- I think we should just take the bubbles in the top left corner and copy them into the top right corner, making those buttons white in the process. if that is what you're talking about.--Quantumkid 17:00, 19 September, 2008 (UTC)
Section Glyphs
I think the glyphs in the section headers took up too much space. If anything, I'd like to tighten everything up - there's a lot of wasted space on the page. I have removed the glyphs, and put them in a random rotation in the MainPageIntro --Dennis 17:12, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- the pattern icons appear over the text. --Nicholasbmoore 00:44, 19 September 2008
- This appears to only be a problem in Internet Explorer. I'll look into it... --Dennis 18:18, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
Random Page
Needs to be more random. The first 20 or so pages keep repeating page after page. --GreenRabbit 11:54, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- It might be because it only links to articles not that small, and at the moment most of our articles are stub. Anyhow - it would be nice if a sysop would look into it. --Pierre 17:48, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
Add This To The Homepage?
According to a report from Slice of Sci Fi, J.J. Abrams, the creator of Fringe, Abrams is considering setting an end-point for Fringe, much the same way he did for Lost, citing how establishing an endpoint for Lost revitalized the show.
Just as with Lost, we didn't get to a place until the third season where we were saying, 'OK, we need to know where halfway is.' And I fell like that's something that ... if we're lucky enough to continue going, I do think that at a certain point it would be a really smart thing to start to say, 'OK, let's figure out...what the actual date is so we sort of know...how far we should push things.'
Abrams said no decisions have been made as of yet, as to the end point of the show, but he did hint that Leonard Nimoy may return sometime this season. Also on what's coming up in season two:
- And then there are other things that... we've talked about doing -- ...her stepfather story -- that... we're putting off. So I feel there's a lot of...opportunity for where we're going beyond this season, and I'm going to be bullish and optimistic about that. And I feel like we have a long way to go still, but I think...that the show...has sort of found a kind of rhythm that is nice to see,...and I'm really proud of what we're doing with it. - - I can't find any OFFICIAL source for the story. Slice (blogger) never cites an official source and only links to other bloggers. The other bloggers never quote an official source and reblog back to other bloggers. I don't doubt that the producer said what he said - just need to see the "on record" journalist. The had a big TCA last week - it looks like it may have come from that. YahOOggling that has not produced a source yet. And it violates our Spoiler Policy at FPedia. -- –DocH– my edits
Add Next Episode Title: Peter
fox.com/fringe now shows (see photo gallery) that the next episode in April is titled "Peter." Should be added to the Next on Fringe box. --Aswvwl21 22:13, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
- - NOPE. The OFFICIAL Press Release does not come-out until around 16 March at FOXFlash.com. The Fox.com website does not officially identify anything until the show has aired. (remember how Edina City Limits changed to Johari Window). So no! Avoid the risk of being wrong, and the potential excess work of having to UNDO errors... wait 4.5 more weeks. -- –DocH– my edits 00:41, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
